				<description>We are seeking a Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee and manage our machining operations in Chakan. The preferred candidate will have a background in engineering and relevant experience in a machine shop environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Supervise Daily Operations**: Ensure the machining processes run smoothly by overseeing the day-to-day activities within the shop. This includes monitoring workflows and implementing improvements as necessary.

- **Team Management**: Lead and coordinate a team of machine operators and technicians. Provide guidance, support, and training to enhance the team's performance and skill set.

- **Quality Control**: Implement and maintain quality standards for all manufactured parts. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and tackle any quality-related issues promptly.

- **Scheduling and Planning**: Develop production schedules and allocate resources efficiently to meet deadlines. Balance workload among team members to optimize productivity.

- **Safety Compliance**: Promote and enforce safety protocols within the shop to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

- **Maintenance Oversight**: Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule repair and maintenance of machinery to prevent downtime.

**Required Skills and Expectations:**

- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is necessary.
- A minimum of 2 to 7 years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively supervise staff.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to resolve production challenges.
- Knowledge of machining processes and quality assurance techniques.
